It started with a wedding—Tim's own

The idea for Ceremonio didn't come from a boardroom; it came from the guest's perspective. While planning his own wedding at a beautiful UK venue, Tim was struck by a strange contradiction.

The team was incredible and the setting was flawless, but as the planning unfolded, the "behind-the-scenes" told a different story. He saw the "hand-cranked" spreadsheets, the emails with mismatched fonts, and the manual admin that seemed to swallow up the team's time. It was clear that these talented coordinators were delivering a five-star experience despite their tools, not because of them.

Closing the gap

That observation stuck with Tim. He realized that while exclusive-use venues provide a world-class physical experience, their digital "back-office" often struggles to keep up.
